Okami

Pros

• Original concept
• Beautiful art style
• Wii controls are more suited to the "celestial brush"
• Lots of clever puzzles

Cons

• Issun is still the most annoying sidekick ever
• Combat moves not always responsive to Wiimote controls

Bottom Line

Even better than the PS2 version, and still worth getting.

Reviews

"This is a Zelda-like game where you solve problems and occasionally fight foes by drawing on the screen with the "celestial brush." For example, a broken water wheel can be traced and made whole by drawing a circle on the screen. It's a very different and refreshing game. Although it was previously made for the PlayStation 2, it really is better suited to play on the Wii. It's more intuitive to bring up the drawing screen and trace whatever you need to using the Wiimote. It might be just me, but I did find the controls oddly stiff during combat, and occasionally during the drawing sequences. However this doesn't change the fact that Okami is beautiful to behold, and one of the most original games to come along in many a moon."
