Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir

Pros

• Lots of different puzzles
• Reasonable interface
• New item finding activities
• Special items to use
• Two player play

Cons

• Repeated items
• Some touch screen tasks don't add much

Bottom Line

The DS might not be an ideal way to play a hidden object game, but MillionHeir does a pretty good job at transferring the genre.

Reviews

"Hidden object games rule the PC casual game space. Typically, they have big detailed screens overflowing with objects, which is a challenge to put on something like the DS, to say the least. MillionHeir does a pretty respectable job of translating the genre to the small screen. Some of the DS-specific touches are better than others. Two-player co-op is cool, but the DS item hunt activities (such as puncturing a balloon to deflate it) really don't amount to much. Like all hidden object games, MillionHeir is very compelling, even on a platform that is not ideally suited to the genre."
