"Magic Aces is an interesting remix of poker... at least at first glance. Players must position cards against multiple hand, winning points and more cards to advance in a tournament. It's a sometimes confusing mix of solitaire and stud poker. The problem is that some of the goals you are given are night impossible if you don't start winning hands immediately, meaning that your advancement can owe more to luck than skill. There's a good game in here, but the rules need another look."
