"Cake Mania started the whole click-management craze. And even though there has a been a billion imitators since, Cake Mania 3 manages to feel special. The game sends Jill through time and space to fantasy kingdoms, ancient Egypt and other more offbeat locations. While it plays like your typical management game, there are many imaginative art and gameplay touches. Like customers who steal money left on counters. Phone orders. A crystal ball that tells you what a customer will order in advance. Minigames that let you build power-ups. All wrapped in a bundle of colourful graphics, and even voice-overs for the cutscenes. The formula is not revolutionized, but once again Cake Mania stands out above all its imitators."
