LEGO Batman: The Videogame

Pros

• Tons of Batman characters
• Fun vehicle sequences
• Play as a hero or villain
• Two play co-op play
• Tons and tons of collectables

Cons

• Glitchy
• Can be picky about falling and dying
• Dippy AI
• No online co-op play

Bottom Line

It doesn't do much to change the whole LEGO game formula, but it's a good family friendly tribute to the Caped Crusader.

Reviews

"With its signature gadgets, vehicles and colourful Rogue's Gallery, the Batman universe fits right into the whole LEGO videogame approach. While LEGO Batman doesn't do anything radical to the formula, this is a solid outing, and it's head and shoulders above most historical Batman videogames. Some of the usual problems still haven't been sorted out: it can get really finicky about ledges and falling. And you best play with a partner, because when the AI takes over your sidekick, it can do some really dumb things (Robin kept driving into the mines I was towing during one vehicle mission). However it is packed with Bat-content, including 30 playable characters (both heroes and villains) and about a zillion things to unlock. This is that rare game that both kids and old folks can enjoy, alone or together."
