SOCOM US Navy SEALs: Confrontation

Pros • Sweet USB headset included • Very well designed maps • Plenty of guns • Fast action and a lot of strategy • Lots of modes and interesting mission goals	Cons • No single player campaign • Lots of server lag and lost connections

Bottom Line SOCOM's first appearance on the PS3 is good... and it will be better as soon as the servers are brought up to scratch.

"SOCOM has long hit a nice balance of strategy and action, and SOCOM: Confrontation gets right back to those basics. There's no single player campaign, only straight up multiplayer action and strategy. And it's really good too... when it works. Unfortunately, at present time the servers aren't very reliable, having problems making matches and occasionally providing laggy games. Hopefully, over time this will be cleared up, because the core game is there. The maps are fun and nicely balanced, the graphics are pretty strong and you can get a whopping 32 players online. Plus the Bluetooth headeset that comes with it is really nice."
